I was recognized as one of the Top Data Mentors in the United States on TopMate, a platform that connects professionals with learners for one-on-one mentorship.

TopMate is designed to make mentorship more accessible by allowing practitioners to share their experience directly through personalized sessions. It brings together people who are actively working in the field with those trying to break in, creating a much more practical and grounded learning experience.
During my time working in machine learning, particularly on applied systems in gaming at Activision, I spent a significant amount of time mentoring students and early-career engineers. Most of these conversations were focused on helping people understand what real-world machine learning looks like beyond coursework — how to think about problems, build systems, and navigate the industry.
Over time, this consistent engagement led to me being featured among the top data mentors on the platform. As part of this recognition, I was also featured on a Times Square billboard in New York, which was a unique and unexpected highlight of the experience.

What I find meaningful about this recognition is that it reflects impact in a different way — not through publications or formal achievements, but through direct interactions with people and helping them move forward in their careers.
