🏆 Greater Good Studio Award — Activision Blizzard (2024)

In March 2024 I received a studio-level discretionary award from Activision, recognizing individuals who had made significant contributions to the team, the projects, and the wider mission.
The award letter frames it as recognition for work that “contributes to the greater good of our titles and our studios” — going beyond the role, collaborating across teams, or championing initiatives that benefit players.
My work at Activision sits on the anti-cheat side: machine learning systems that detect aimbots and other forms of cheating in Call of Duty, running at the scale of double-digit millions of players.
It is the kind of work that is invisible when it goes well. Nobody notices the match that stayed fair. So being told out loud that it mattered to the studio meant a fair amount.
